The PIF program places technologists within the federal government to tackle some of our nation’s biggest challenges. I primarily worked with Veterans Affairs, increasing transparency through open data, and gathering narratives about our Veterans to improve access to VA services.

Creating a Customer-Centric Analytics Strategy

VA hosted two analytics and user-experience forums to map data-driven observations to VA's Strategic Plan: the Open Data Roundtable and Analytics Powering Outcomes for Veterans, and created the Open Data Findings Report.

Fifth Annual White House Science Fair

I was invited to participate in the White House Science Fair's Women & Girls in STEM Roundtable with high school students, White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, Associate Director for Science Dr. Jo Handelsman and Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell,
